Timberhill the community, Timberhill the team!

Hey Timberhill!  Recently you heard me talk in class if you came to cycle morning cycle this week about “Team Timberhill”!  Wanna know what we’re planning? Well here it is. The instructors and team members at Timerhill would love to be more involved in what you all do after you leave the club doors.  What if we took what is already very much a community of people that ALREADY have so much in common and said lets do more together? LETS!

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said” I just can’t find people that like to do what I like to do”, but I did know people who like to do what I like to do and they were in my gym!  I liked to exercise, surprise, and obviously you guys do too!

So without further ado we’d like to tell you about TEAM TIMBERHILL G.O, it just means Timberhill GOES OUTSIDE together!  Lets keep using this amazing facility to not only exercise but train for specific goals out of the cold weather and rain and then lets go outside and play together!

We the instructors (and maybe even non instructor exercise hobbyists) of Timberhill Athletic Club are going to be offering training schedules posted to the website and social media like Facebook and Instagram, we want to meet up with you as an identified group of people to check in on progess and participate in a group run or walk or bicycle ride.  This will all be included in your membership, that’s right FREE to our members! Best of all we will be providing discount codes to these events we’ve obtained through the sponsors! YAY!

Our first events we will be doing as Team Timberhill TAC G.O are the Corvallis 5k/ Half Marathon in April on the 13th and 14th.  Here is the direct link for sign up (look we’re giving you all the steps to make this happen).

Reach the Beach Team Timberhill is already getting participants signed up, Skip Mahoney and Lori Rinck (cycle instructor) are ready to roll from Amity on a 55 mile ride to Pacific City May 18th.  We’ve obtained a code for 50% off registration to join this team and profits all go to the American Lung Association! It is known as the best supported ride in the NW.
