Aquatics Programs
Want a refreshing change in your work out? Jump in to the pools at TAC!
Young and old benefit from the support and added resistance of water exercise.  The buoyancy of water allows for greater range of motion with less strain on bones, muscles and joints by reducing the weight-bearing stress. The density of water creates even resistance that tones and strengthens muscles while increasing balance. Water class options range from a very gentle water walking class to a high energy deep water class. Just want to swim? Check out the pool schedule for personal workout sessions! We always offer at least 2 lanes in our big pool for All Workout.
All classes are on-going and you  may join at any time.  Click here for class descriptions.
Check the current pool schedule to find out about our variety of programs and uses.
Classes are offered six days a week and are open to all members.

Big Pool
Take a Group Water Class
Our classes are designed to meet the varied needs of our members.  You can enhance your cardiovascular fitness and improve your muscular endurance, flexibility, and overall strength.  The buoyancy of the water supports your body in a way that decreases the likelihood of muscle, joint and bone injury associated with higher impact activities.  Train your muscles in a full range of motion while adjusting the speed and amount of effort to fit individual needs.  Add a class to your existing schedule as a cross-training technique.

Swim Lessons
Small class size and teachers with at least 3 years experience make these classes a cut above the rest!  Our goal is to teach that swimming is fun, while instilling a respect for the water. TAC offers both group and private swim lessons year round.

Group Lessons are offered monthly and usually meet for four weeks. Group lesson options are Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 3-6 pm. Each thirty-minute class has a maximum of four children in each class.
Private lessons for children and adults are available at a variety of times to meet your schedule.  Registration for group or private lessons is ongoing.  Contact Shannon Brown for more information.
